great steak
Walked by with friends on saturday and decided to try it. Food was outstanding--from the appetizers we all shared to the great steaks. Service was great and the bill was a lot less than we usually get for a soup to nuts steak meal like this. I highly recommend this to everyone--a real find!

Had the most delicious meal here last night. Excellent service. Immaculate. Warm atmosphere. No wine served-in process of getting liquor licence. State dragging their feet. When we asked if we can BYOB owner explained that that too is against law without a license and they are not taking any chances. But we will definitely go back anyway.Even without the wine. Food is worth it.

No wine steakhouse
Food was good and value is there as the prices are reasonable. But there is no excuse for a no wine steakhouse. For whatever reason, this place does not allow byob while they wait for their liquor license, so in the meantime you have to eat steak with water or soda, which is unacceptable. I question some of the below reviews as they are a bit too rosey - the place was dead when we went which doesn't make for a festive spot, and often when people go for steak it is for an occassion (and they want a drink). Not here.

Yum!
Love the simplicity of this new steakhouse! A warm welcome followed by a warm basket of soft herb scented rolls. Fresh lemon slices in our water. mmm...so far ,so good! We started with the crab cakes... loaded with fresh crab & classic breadcrumb crust - great! Then onto lamb chops that were grilled to perfection & flavorful. We added to sides. Grilled asparagus with a balsamic reduction...perfection. A heaping portion of happy creamed spinach .. more yum! I had the perfect cappuccino & we shared a generous portion of key lime pie, which was sort of like a deep dish key lime torte. It was a perfect ending to a great meal. Be patient, this place is working on it's liquor license & the owner does not color outside the lines - no byob, but don't wait for the paper chase. This place is a yummy find.

outstanding new restaurant
Food was great and service to match. Nice ambiance and neighborhood. Ribs had a great flavor and filet migno was perfect. Standout was the super fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers. Looking forward to next visit. Highly recommend this restaurant.

GREAT STEAK!
A Delight! The atmosphere was great, so was the food. Priced right for a NY steakhouse. Staff was attentive and friendly. I will be telling all my friends. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Great Value Steakhouse
I've always wondered when/if an affordable steakhouse would open up. DC opened up a steakhouse named Rays The Steaks, which has affordable steaks in the 20 price range. West Side Steakhouse has done the same by serving good quality food at affordable prices. They don't have their liquor lisence yet, but hopefully they will have some affordable wines available in a few weeks.
