    Really genuine!

Walked by this past Saturday, and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The music was blaring fun latin dance music and the employees and customers were all in great moods. I had coffee, a roast pork sandwich (pernil) and tostones (fried non-sweet plantains) with garlic sauce on the side. The food (AND the COFFEE) was really great and the hostess/counter waitress could not have been nicer. The tostones were pounded flat on the counter just prior to their being fried and the serving size was huge! I've been telling everyone about it ever since and will definitely be back. The menu is expansive with daily specials. Very authentic!

    Amazing hidden gem

This is the most delicious place in the area - although when you look in on it you probably wouldnt realize but the food is out of this world. The cafe con leche, fried plantains, and cheese enchiladas are to DIE FOR and once you are in there you realize that it is just a whole bunch of locals kicking it and eating BOMB ass food

addiction: huevos rancheros & cinnamon cappuccino

a dominican diner gem you will be so glad you found! gorgeous huge delicious plates of your new favorite meals. its shiny clean, has a cool diner vibe with bar seating, and the staff is familial and lovely. don't be a nerd and complain that it doesn't look like tribeca grill. god willing, it never will.
