Surprising deal
My husband and I recently went to West Bank Cafe after a show and were surprised to see that they offered a $27 three-course menu after 8 PM. We ordered off of it and thought the dishes were both interesting and tasty (particularly the asparagus salad). Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend the restaurant. We found it a far better value than many of the more over-hyped places in the area.

Used to be one of our favorites
This used to be one of our favorites. Then they changed chefs. What a difference. We went in a few months ago-my caesar salad looked like what's left in the bottom of the bowl after a long day at the salad bar at the supermarket, and tasted just about as good. My friend's fish was dry and tasteless. And our favorite appetizers had been removed from the menu. Being of a forgiving nature, we figured we'd give it one more try tonight, and now we can add seriously reduced portions to an already lackluster meal.
