Awesome currywurst and atmosphere
Always have a great experience here: atmosphere, food, value, and great staff. Less crowded during daytime.

Best currywurst in town
Love this place and keep on coming back. Tiny cozy spot where you can get great sausages and beers for a low price. Wished they had this place in uptown.

great little spot
Love this place! Great selection of German beers served in the right glasses, delicious German wurst, the shoestring fries are to die for and the currywurst is super authentic. Tiny spot with cool, cozy atmosphere, friendly vibe and amazingly friendly waitstaff.

Good, but could be better
The idea of this place really excites me. i lived in hamburg for many years, where good currywurst is considered an art and a well earned bragging right. i find myself returning here because its comforting, but i always leave slightly dissapointed. Honestly, the currywurst could be so much more than it is. the sauce lacks pizazz and and the wurst is practically swimming in it. the fries always make me sad and wanting more. The leberkaese (a very bavarian treat) is super tasty but the roll it is on served lacks what it really should be. All in all i want people to visit. and i want to keep going back, but i do think that things need improving (the fries! the fries!). despite this all- its a cozy, relaxing place for fun, german street food.

Authentically Awesome!
My German boyfriend and me love this place. The currywurst is some of the best we've had in or out of Germany and the skinny fries are a nice complement to the sausage. I really recommend the Augustiner beer if they have it when you go there. It's not as famous outside of Germany as some other brands, but it's very good and popular in Germany, especially Bavaria. Place is small and you share tables when the crowd gets bigger, but it's part of the experience. Service has always been friendly and efficient every time I've gone.

A new favorite!
Fantastic beers. Fantastic food (especially, of course, the Currywurst), and fantastic staff. Very pleasant atmosphere. A new favorite!
