Ordered food by calling the restaurant. I've had numerous people who stopped giving Waza business and have warned me about their delivery service and I should have listened. They are known to take a while, at least an hour. This is fine with me as long as the food is warm and good. Food here is a bit more expensive than the other normal Japanese restaurants in this neighborhood. With that said, food was good I must say. The delivery guy begged me to come out of my apartment and come outside to get my food! He refused to come upstairs! The whole point of delivery service is so that I don't have to move. I was in my pajama shorts. When it was time for me to sign my receipt, he smiled and said Happy New Year. Irritating. I called the restaurant to complain and I got a sorry and the sound of the phone hanging up. I'm a super loyal customer. But after this, I'm saddened that I can't order from here anymore. Poor running the business, food is not always everything. I still tipped the guy $4 which I am regretting.

Definately one of Brooklyn's best ramen spots. The tonkatsu ramen's broth is hearty and flavorful. The noodles have great texture and flavor along with the other delicious ingriedients like the chashu pork. I love eating there and just found out they deliver. The food came quickly and it was packed profesionally. The broth was seperated so nothing was soggy. Oh, the pork buns and king crab tuna dumplings are pretty awesome too.

I am very surprised. We just ordered delivery (had to guess about the atmosphere rating) and my husband actually insisted that I write a review. First of all, the food came in less than 30 minutes. Second, it was all delicious. I ordered spicy Salmon and I am about to say that it was the best spicy salmon roll I have ever eaten. He ordered hamachi kama and it was a revelation. AMAZING! They make their own fresh bonito flakes and the kids lapped up the age tofu. Really impressed. I have been waiting to order from Waza to give them the chance to establish themselves but they have definitely arrived and are ready to take Myrtle Ave. restaurants by storm. We had always stuck by Yamashiro, but I must say..... move over Yamashiro, Waza has brought their A game.

Waza is a great spot. Their ramen is excellent asis their sushi. Great interesting creative rolls, terrific happy hour and friendly service
