nice place, great food excellent service

first I came here, it looked like very traditional place. I came across here at the weekend and I wanted to look something to eat just killing my time. The waiters, 2 long-hair guys, they're really nice and took order very friendly. I ordered kimow noodle I didn't know before that's very spicy. I asked him to change it for me and the old lady behind the cashier station once heard me said to them, she suddenly told them to bring it and change the new one for me. I also ordered another kimow 2go for my mom. 2 things I wanna complain, the first one the music isn't doen't match to the place It seem like I listen Indian music in Thai restaurant. I never get well done chicken satay. I really recommend if you wanna find a place to meet and relax with your friend or date. But don't try chicken satay.

    Waitstaff problems

Went to this place on the weekend a while back. I usually try all the new restaurants that open in the Slope. i found the food ok , not as great as other Thai places i have tried in the city or nearby Smith St. The prices were reasonable and ok for the area. The only negative i found was the wait staff. I dont understand why this guy who was my waiter and i think there is only one who takes the orders had a real nasty attitude. First, while he is taking our order he is busy looking at other customers coming in, and at other tables. I asked him if he heard my order and said yes i did with a nasty tone. Second, was very impatient I mean food is prepared differently at all restaurants. Seemed he got annoyed by my questions, which i might add was only a couple. But here is the best part from our "friendly waiter", he assured me he heard my order correctly, but when I got my order it was completely wrong, and might I add we never received the appetizer we got charged for. Lets not just open restaurants because your in Park Slope, lets bring the service also. Won't ry this place again!

    Slow, Poor Food

The food was incredibly slow to arrive and when it did, it did nothing but disappoint. The Tom Kha Gai tasted like milk soup with chicken and mushrooms, the beef basil was greasy and far too spicy (and I usually like very spicy food). Other dishes were bland and overcooked. I would not order from this restaurant again.

    interestingly new!!

Came across this place while passing by with a friend and decided to try it out. the food is TERRIFIC...appetizer, entree and dessert were all reasonably priced. the menu is nicely put together...very encouraging. the waiter was friendly and patient and knows alot about the cuisine. the place is very clean and cozy. it is definitely worth trying again and again...we are hooked on thai cuisine.

Great eat in or take away

My favorite thai in the slope. Delicious, cheap, non greasy. The restaurant is cute and great for dates. I cannot recommend enough.

    new favorite thai

I've been having a tough time finding good thai closer to the south slope area, but i found my place!! small restaurant with a nice ambiance, chic, dark-wood decor and wide open windows on nice days. and the food was some of the best thai i've had in new york. one critique-- not spicy enough!! i ordered fried rice and there was a little spicy pepper next to it on the menu, but it was not spicy at all. i asked for some extra chili sauce though, and that gave it the kick i needed. i will definitely be back and am about to order delivery right now.
