Whatever you say, we Japanese love them
Since many good Japanese places are overcrowded by New Yorkers, to be honest I'm glad this place is still not popular among non-Japanese so we Japanese can enjoy our homey and authentic food without wait and noise at this value price. But for the honor of Negi-ya, let me tell you that almost all Japanese people who have been there keep going back, and it gets crowded little by little. Yes some of real ramen in Japan has a strong pork flavor on purpose while many of ramen in NY are mild in flavor or Americanized to appeal to non-Japanese customers. This place didn't follow the path, yay! I just hope NYT etc doesn't write about this place...

Not recommended
I am sorry that I would not go back to this place. I love ramen, and this was worst ramen I 've ever had. pork soup stock was stink, I even could not have a bite. Service was not good either.

Great weekend brunch specials
My sister and I love the tempura with soba and my husband is super happy with their sashimi, high grade fish and very fresh. The sweet treat is as good as what you would get from Payard. We love to come on the weekend.
