    Love this place!

We have several Sushi places in Greenpoint now but by far Wasabi is the best. Food good! Prices reasonable! Great owners....

Ok for lazy Sunday lunch :)

We ordered a Sunday lunch special - delivery - the delivery was timely, the food was fresh, they messed up the order a little (gave us the wrong rolls) but overall the quality and the service overshadow that minor mistake.

    What happened here?

My wife and I have been ordering from them the past few months and everything has been great until tonight. Not only did the delivery take over 1hr but once received the bag was soaked from the soup spilling everywhere. The sushi was just BAD. We couldn't even eat it. When we called the resturant to inform them that something is wrong, they said "nothing wrong, everything fine" and hung up the phone. This will be the last time we ever order from this place and I strongly urge you to find s different place.

    Unbelievably rude

I ordered take out from here on a whim the other night. The sushi was alright, nothing I'm calling my mother about. The real issue was the service. The order took over an hour, and once the delivery guy arrived he commented that I didn't tip high enough and began asking me for more money. When I'm paying twelve dollars for a maki roll consisting of five pieces, I didn't think I needed to pay this man's electric bill as well. I will never order or visit the restaurant again.

    Not recommended

I've decided to try this place after trying Sapporo a block away, and i have to say this place cannot be compared. The sushi here is small in portion and it wasn't free at all. The sushi i ordered was so small in portion and the price was just no reasonable. They recently started charging 50% off on their fish, but they made the portion even smaller. i will never come back to this place because i prefer fresh food with a decent price.

ordered from them for 3 years!

I'm surprised that Wasabi has gotten such mixed reviews. I've ordered from them for 3 years and I have the credibility to "rate" their food. I've tried many different rolls and platters. If you love sushi, try the sushi C it's pricy but very satisfying. The lunch specials are totally reasonably priced and tastes great. It's consistent service, they are not political people who heighten their tone to sound extra sweet but they are respectful and careful with your requests or substitutions. I don't understand why some people seem to use this site to vent or to be vindictive because their order wasn't up to par. If I ever had an issue with wasabi, (maybe once) I called them, they fixed it, resolved! Trust these guys, they're the professionals, and it's in their best interest to satisfy us.

    Sushiscam

Yo, I used to get take out from these people, but I think tonight will be the last night I do it. This place used to be a decent bargain-- my old lady and I could feast for 21 bucks or so. Well, they took down all the prices on their online menus, and jacked everything up. We got "the usual" tonight, and it was 7 dollars more, putting in the 30 range.
