    Not a fan

Really wanted to enjoy this but it just didn't do it. Delivery took over an hour. Food was rather bland. Rice and beans were tasteless, no sauce for the tostones.

    dissapointed

I order some lomo saltado for my office Christmas lunch. well, first the delivery person came 45 minutes late. second, the food (Lomo Saltado) was sticky, and it looks like it was made the day before, and frankly, it was way below the quality from others Peruvian restaurants from the same area, and third, for the price I paid, i can eat three times better in any other Peruvian restaurant from the upper west side. It was the firs time I order something from that place, but I am very sure that I will never do it again. ahhh! make sure you have the right amount of money to pay the delivery guy because he never carry a single dollar to give you the change.

    Excellent

We stumbled on the place, but we will make it a destination for many more dinners to come. It cannot be bad if you start the meal with an awesome pisco sour. We loved the crispy corn and Aji Sauce on the table. My wife had the chicken soup and I had the milky spicy chicken, which was heavy but delicious. The people on the next table let us dip into their tasty Ceviche Mixto. Everything was delicious.

Food great but delivery is poor

I had this delivered a few weeks ago with no problems. food was excellent, delivery was on time. Tonight I ordered the same dishes as last time and they took my information and I eagerly awaited delivery. 50minutes after ordering they called me back to tell me I live too far away for delivery 50 minutes! I told them they delivered before and the answer was that they were too busy tonight. 50 minutes after I ordered. great food but unprofessional flaky service.

    Best Peruvian in the city

I had the best ceviche in a long time, the fish was fresh, great taste. The "Lomo Satltado" was great also. Nice atmosphere, great service. I'll be back soon.

    Great chicken and Ceviche!

Recently, as a group of 6, we supplied our own wine (minimal corkage) and service was not only accommodating, but exceptional. No rush and our friends compared the chicken to another restaurant saying Warique was better. All of the ceviches are outstanding and we love the corn nuts on the table. We have also gotten delivery and take out and been very pleased with the less greasy chicken than some of their competitors. A great addition to the neighborhood.

    Needs to improve

Our meal started off promisingly, but our group of 7 seemed to overwhelm the kitchen..... after long break then the appetizer started arriving the ceviches ( though shouldn't ceviche come out quickly ? it's not like they can cure in lime juice for each order.) Then the server announced the lamb( cabrito) dish isn't available ( they didn't know earlier?) So we didn't get our entrees until most everyone else had finished- a big pile of fried fish, scallops and mussels that we wound up packing to go by the way it dosen't have that much flavour.
