I just don't see the substance here. A cute place that is definitely built for being seen. Food is mediocre but service is stellar. A very everybody knows everybody type of place. I'll eat elsewhere though. So many great places nearby that focus a little more on the food. They could at least do house cut fries to prove that they're trying...

I almost don't want to review Walter Foods because I want to still be able to get a table when I come! Simply put: excellent food, wonderful service, fair value, great vibe, and they just opened this killer patio in the back just in time for summer. I could go on and on, but let's just say disappointment won't be on your mind should you go. This is how a restaurant should be run, professionally and intelligently with the careful attention to detail that diners come out to eat for. Bravo to the owners for making Walter Foods a place for the eater, not the scenester.

this place is great. all my friends were raving about the place, so i finally made my way over the other day. i sat outside with a couple of friends in a really nice patio that wasn't overcrowded at all. the server was friendly and helpful. definitely the best service in the area, but what stood out the most was the food. we started with oysters and then i moved on to the steamed lobster. delicious! and perfectly cooked. the fries were thin and crisp. this spot is going to be my new summer place for sure.

As a resident of Williamsburg for some time now, I'm glad a restaurant like Walter Foods has opened. I can only review the dishes I ordered. To start, the oysters and the selection there of were fantastic. There was a good variety. The fried chicken was also well-prepared and presented. Immediately after finishing my first experience at Walter Foods, I wanted to return.
