    Not recommended

The quality of their food and service has gone down significantly. I ordered a chicken broccoli and it was so oily. The oil separated from the sauce and had soaked through the take-out container. The tiny side of rice that it came with looked dirty and tasted like it had not been rinsed at all before it was cooked. I ended up tossing my whole lunch. The woman taking my order was also extremely rude and gave major attitude. This place used to be much better when the original owners were there. Next time I'm hungry, I'm going to walk those few extra blocks to get more decent food.

The Best Chinese Takeout in the Neighborhood

I found myself wandering down Grand Street and found this little whole in the wall place. I ordered their wonton soup and it was so delicious, it wasn't too salty and the meat inside was so full of flavor. I also got their homemade ice tea, probably the best ice tea i've ever had in my life. If i ever find myself down here I would definitely stop by here again

    Decent Spot

If youre from this hood then you already know...the chicken and broccoli is awesome!..everything else is decent no better or worse than most places, and yeah the chick is mean but when you want some fast food delivered by the cool mexican dude, its better than the spot up the block that just looks bad!!

    Worse place in the neighborhood

This use to be the best chinese food around when the brother and sister were running it, it has gone down in taste and quality and the price has gone up! Very bland tasting food... Horrible attitude... Brother and Sister come back!

    Went downhill

This used to be my favorite take out Chinese restaurant. Although the people who work there are very nice, the food really is no longer good: The spareribs were tasteless, the sweet and sour chicken had the taste and consistency of leftovers, and the broccoli w/ garlic sauce (the measure of how I judge a Chinese restaurant) was oily and overly sweet tasting. I am swearing off this place for good!

    Disappointing

Most subpar Chinese takeout food I ever had.

    tasty

you drive back from queens? are you insane? wa lung is tasty, clean and certainly preferable to wing hing down the block, but queens is home to some really great, authentic chinese food. branch out a little, you won't be sorry. my only wa lung complaint is inconsistency. some nights i get killer shrimp chow fun, other nights it is wet and sloppy with too much veg.
