    One of My NYC Faves!

Vynl is such a great place to dine at. They have awesome Hashbrowns, really good waffles, good breakfast, and I love their Staff--Not only are they HOT, they are speedy and treat their customers well! The atmosphere is very hip, but everyone is welcome, and served with zero condescension-something I rarely find. Enjoy...

With Vynl, its a love/hate relationship

Hands down, Vynl is my favorite neighborhood spot. The food is awesome, the servers are cool, and its fun place to eat. But be careful about what you expect-- Vynl is hit or miss. The misses come straight from the kitchen; usually along the lines of overcooked food. As far as delivery goes, stay away if you can help it! Without fail, the food shows up over done or just not what you ordered. Last week it was eggs benedict with eggs cooked hard as a rock (I guess we should have known when we were asked what temp. we wanted our eggs... poached eggs don't have a temp.) and our side of smoked salmon ended up being a $9 smoked salmon on a bagel platter but somehow the bagel never showed up.... Somehow, I still love this place. The secret is just to show up and relax. The staff is good about taking care of problems when they arise, and it always ends up being a good time. One of the best ninth ave has to offer. But to any Vynl employees out there; please, please fix the delivery!

    Best kept secret

The best little place in Hells Kitchen. It's worth every dollar. They have a great staff and good food. This is a great place to take visitors.

great food for the price, fun atmosphere

I always bring out of town guests here because the atmosphere feels fun and hip, there's plenty to choose from on the menu, and they don't get sticker shock at the menu prices like they would at other restaurants. A dinner entree for under $10? Holla! It's not the greatest food ever, but I'm always satisfied. Good variety for vegetarians too, and I'm always pleased with the drinks. The new location has a prominent bar where you can wait for your table, big improvement from their crowded space before. Highly recommended!

    Poor service

After reading about Vynl here on Menupages and checking out their website, I was excited to check it out with my brother when he came to visit. The menu seemed promising. I ordered the seared rare tuna wrap and watermelon lemonade. First of all, I should have known we would have had a bad experience when it took a bit too long to even get seated when we weren't even waiting behind people. Once we sat down, no one came by to take our order for a while. Finally, our order was taken and while it did not take too long for the food to come out, both meals were luke warm, as if they had been sitting around for a while. First of all, they brought me the wrong meal. Instead of getting a tuna wrap with potato chips I got a tuna steak, soggy spinach, and cold mashed potatoes. Let me just say that when I kindly asked for the right meal, I still had yet to receive my drink, so I asked a second time. As my brother ate his steak and soggy greens, my food finally arrived. I usually hate sending food back but I just couldn't help it this time. My wrap was tasteless. They barely put any of the wasabi mayo as promised, and my drink was still yet to be seen. Finally, my brother asked again, and it came out. That makes 3 times asked for a single drink. They never came by to refill our waters or ask if we were ok, if we wanted anything else, nothing. The decor was OK. At first I thought it was cute but then I realized it was just a slightly more unique Johnny Rockets.

    Yummy yummy in my Tummy!

This place is a real yum fest. I giggle everytime I eat the food because it so super dooper tasty. Try the turkey meatloaf, its yum factor is over 100!

    Simply fabulous

Always great food, service, and atmosphere! The Pad Thai is one of the best in the City, the cobb salad is great, and the meatloaf rocks. There are better places for burgers. We love Vynl!
