    Delish!

Stopped by for a quick bite before the opera. It was a Friday night and the place was crowded, we were seated immediately and I was worried that we would not get our meal in time to get to our show. Not only did it arrive in plenty of time to spare but it was by far one of the most memorable meals. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls, chicken quesadillas along with the rustic tomatoe soup and a spinach salad with applewood smoked bacon. Everything was fresh, delicous and the perfect temperature. Cannot find anything to criticize. I am only sorry we were too stuffed to try the homemade donuts for dessert. I plan on going back to do just that.

Great place for family with teens

We were on a quick trip and I'd read the reviews beforehand. My daughter and son loved the theme. Food was excellent. Certainly not as loud as the Hard RC. We only had to wait a couple of minutes on a busy Sat. afternoon. Our service was excellent although not overly attentive. All and all, a fun place to eat traditional American food.

    Great food and atmosphere

I love the food and the atmosphere. I have been going to Vynl for several years now. It is one of the first places I take my fiends when they are visiting from out of town. I love answering the question "so what's good" with "I've never been disappointed." Definitely a place for the open minded young and young of heart. Have fun!

    Always good.

Yes, its loud, yes its busy, but the staff is always so much fun, and the food is great. All these comments on here about rude servers I just don't believe. Me and my friends go here because the servers are always so fun, and those margaritas are always so strong! I was there this weekend, had General Tso's chicken, a few margaritas, and couldn't have been happier.

Check out the bathroom, then run.

All style, no substance. I've always been leery of restaurants that serve a myriad of different food types how good can any of them actually be? The only decent thing i've had here is a burger. The food is the definition of mediocre, the service is worse. I understand they're trying to maintain an overall aesthetic with the inclusion of servers, but artificial, aloof, and indifferent is not a welcoming environment. The bathrooms are cool, though.

    Horrible service

My girlfriend and I sat down for dinner last night and the waiter came over to take our order. Immediately, I sensed a condescending tone in his voice, so I figured we'd be in for a rude night. As it turned out, the night didn't last long. As he was taking our order, I asked him a question about the steakfrites and he said he had to check with the kitchen. Seven or so minutes later, he's not back yet. Then I catch him at the table next to ours taking their order. I politely grab him and say, "Sir, I thought you were checking with the kitchen on my question." He rudely says "I'll be there soon" and then proceeds to check on another table. This was perhaps the rudest experience I've had with a server in New York City in the five years I've been living and dining here. I complained to the manager and, to his credit, he tried to make it right. But all was lost at that point. I will never return here again because of a waiter who thought he was better than the customers. I'm entirely sure this isn't the first time this waiter has done this to a patron - and it won't be the last.
