They rock!
I have been coming 2 this place 4 over 3 years now and I love it, the food is fantastic, the service is great (big shout out 2 my girls, April and Angela!), and the prices are reasonable. Everytime I have out of town guests, I bring them in so they 2 can experience VINYL! LOVE U GUYS, THNX!

Too young too hip or want to be
Stopped by after work with a friend. Definitely a place that can get on your nerves. Call it the hip diner for the west midtown crowd, too loud, too much of a "see and be seen " almost type of place but really isn't. The service is okay- we were actually rushed out- so need I say more. The food is standard upscale diner fare. Definitely vegetarian friendly and the price is decent. It has its moments of peace and chaos. Portions are definitely generous and bountiful. Not what I would call a serious place.

Love It
The food here is amazing. Now I understand that they have some iems that aren't the best, such as the wraps or beef stir fry, BUT they're entree are amazing. U gotta try their sesame chicken, pad thai, or salmon plate. I swear its amazing. Don't even get me started on the appetizers. Strongly recommend the butternut squash soup, fried wontons, and spring rolls. Also they are moving down the street to 51st and 9th into a bigger and better place. I see the inside everyday on my way to work and the atmosphere is awesome.

What's the big deal?
I understand that vynl is very cute and relaxed. But honestly the food isn't that great. I've been several times with friends, at their request. And I've found the wraps to be quite quite bland. Their salads are okay however. But, I just don't understand all the raves, the food is okay at best.

Order from here and you'll be happy
I've stayed way too many nights at the office and have tried lots of delivery places. Vynl is definitely the best. Great, fresh food. Cooked to order. Delivered quickly, with English speaker on the phone. Even the fish delivered was great and with so many vegetables. Great value!

Great, casual dining
We stopped in before a show at Lincoln Center and were very suprised at how good the food, service and atmosphere were at Vynl. The cost was great and the selection of either very nice diner food or thai/chinese was really interesting. I can't wait to go back to try brunch.

Deliciously casual
Needing a good place to eat, in a close area, and OPEN late (it?s open til 12 am...), Vynl is the place. Menu covers are vinyl record cases, which were fun. The service was friendly and very prompt. The chicken pad thai hit the spot! Very reasonably priced too.
