Swankier than Ever
I went here at the old location with my mother two years ago and it was fun and kitchy and the lunch was good. I recently went here again - now at the new location - and all I can say is SWANKY. But it's still the same prices and good food. The mac and cheese was yummy and my friend got the Chicken Club and liked it too. The waitstaff was attentive and even though it was a Sunday night we had no problem getting a table. The only time we were waiting is once we got the check it took us a while for the waitress to come over to us and we were in a bit of a hurry. Overall great place and lots of fun to go to.

Awesome!
This place is great. Everything is really tasty! Inexpensive and great if you don't know where to take a Vegetarian. The Carrot Cake is my favorite :o) I have tried Carrot Cake everywhere and this is by far the best -- creamy cream cheese frosting. Also try the Lemongrass Chicken Wrap, the Orange Chicken with rice and or the Beef with Veggie Stir Fry. Surprising. The Calamari and even the burgers are great too. You really can't go wrong here. The people aren't rude it's a cool place.

Decline since the move
My husband and I used to love going to Vynl when it was at its old location. We could always get a table, and the service was very good. Since they moved, we always have to wait at least 20 minutes for a table. It is super noisy there at all times of the day and night. The service is borderline rude, and it a lot less attentive than at its old location. They are definitely all about turning over the tables. I love their cobb salad, and it is just as good as it was at the old location. However, I get stressed everytime I crave it and attempt to brave the new Vynl.

Nice style, poor food and service
Nice styling, but loud music. Food was just ok... The waiter forgot our order and came back to retake the order after 30 mins- and not even a proper apology.

All Around Fabulous!
This neighborhood-friendly restaurant has great atmosphere, great food, and great service. Every time I go I'm greeted with a smile. I recommend the Seasame Chicken and the Mac and Cheese! So Good! The only complaint I have is that the wait for a table can be annoying at night, but I guess thats any good restaurant in New York.

Declining Quality
I used to love this place and order from it regularly, but the last two times, the food has been mediocore at best. Their stir fry, once light and flavorful, was heavy and overly salty. The portabello and goat cheese sandwich was like eating a dry salad in the bread (they forgot to put more than a teaspoonful of goat cheese in the sandwich). To top it off the woman on the phone who takes orders is curt. While I thought this place served good food for the money, it is now "off" my takeout list entirely. I guess a good thing can only last so long.

Fun decor...average food
Fun decor, laugh out loud bathrooms, food really just mediocre...as good as any other diner...service spotty...once, I ordered a chocolate egg cream and the glass was served to me half full.
