Provides totally yummy kid-friendly regular tomato pizza, as well as snooty mom-and-dad pizza (with the basil and good mozzarella). Atmosphere is basic. Probably ok for a hot day in summer to watch the crowds go by, otherwise just take out or have delivered. Fast and friendly.

I ordered a large pie to be delivered and it just arrived 2 hours after I ordered it. I called several times to check up on its status and the guy kept telling me that it would be here in 2 minutes. When it finally arrived I opened the box it was a pizza made up of slices from several different pizzas which was reheated and burnt. I called the guy and all he did was flounder for excuses and blatantly lie. I should have read menu pages before I ordered...shame on me.

I live right around the corner of this place, and I just have to finally post a review. This place sucks. It is a complete rip-off, at $3.30 for ONE slice. And it isn't anything but average. But what makes it worse is that the guy working there is just unpleasant to customers. I innocently didn't realize that I had yet to give the $3 and only gave the guy said that I was scamming him. As i paid him $3.30 for ONE slice of avg pizza

I went here based on a recommendation from a co-worker, and it's in our neighborhood. I ordered a pizza for pick-up. As I walked in, the guy running the register said, "Great, you're right on time. It just came out of the oven." On my walk home, I became concerned because there was no heat coming from the bottom of the box - like EVERY other pizza box I have ever carried. When I got home, it was obvious that it hadn't been anywhere near a heat source for a LONG time. It was barely luke warm and probably closer to cold. I called back, and they plead innocence and stuck to their story . I asked for a refund and got the run-around.

For the last couple of years this place had gone down the toilet, the crust is too doughy with bland sauce which is not much to be desired. When Vinny himself is there the Pizza isn't so bad but when he's gone stay away from this place.

In the past I have ordered from Vinny Vincenz regularly. In recent months, however, both the service and the food has gone downhill- fast. I just received an incomplete order an hour after placing it. The food was unrecognizable as what had been ordered and inedible.

I recently started coming in here for a slice of sicilian or maybe a slice of regular and some garlic knots. In my opinion, this is among the best NYC pizza in NYC and I've eaten it in alot of places all over Manahttan and Queens. It's just really good pizza, large slices and I think the prices are a bit lower than most places. The garlic knots were delicious; very fresh, not like some places where the texture tells you they've been sitting around for hours.
