    great pizza!

I recently started coming in here for a slice of sicilian or maybe a slice of regular and some garlic knots. In my opinion, this is among the best NYC pizza in NYC and I've eaten it in alot of places all over Manahttan and Queens. It's just really good pizza, large slices and I think the prices are a bit lower than most places. The garlic knots were delicious; very fresh, not like some places where the texture tells you they've been sitting around for hours.

    never again

ordered a siscilian margarita pie here for the 1st time last night as i had walked by the place on a few occasions and thought it looked decent. @26 bucks for a plain old siscilian pie ( did not seem like a margarita) i thought the pizza took too long to deliver and was merely ok.

great food, great pizza for price

I been a customer of Vinny Vincenz for years and have to say it never disappoints me. They have a great selection of pastas, great salads with homemade dressings and great dishes that don't bust your wallet. The staff is friendly and professional, and when Vinny himself is there, he makes you feel like family.

Not as good as it used to be

Vinny Vincenz used to be one of the go-to places for pizza downtown - having ordered it again a few times over the past couple of weeks, I can definitely and confidently agree with everyone who thinks Vinny's is dead. The food is good but not great, the delivery always takes over 90 minutes to get to you, and the service is absolutely subpar. Not to mention that they'll try to overcharge you a few bucks every time and make you question it - not worth the trouble. Get better pizza somewhere else.

    Great Pizza

Ate there tonight with a friend, had a Sicilian with eggplant. It was excellent, great crust, sauce, and cheese. Nice taste of olive oil. Eggplant was good and not at all greasy. My friend said the tomatoes tasted "fresh and sweet". The service was great and the guy seemed genuinely concerned that we were happy with our food. They were very accommodating about us pulling over another table to hold the pizza and sitting there talking for several hours. (Wasn't very busy inside but the delivery guys seemed busy.) Beer selection was slim but it was a Monday holiday. My friend said she would definitely eat there again (she lives nearby) and I will do.

The Most Inconsistent Restaurant In NY

Sometimes when you call, you may get the best food within 20 minutes and, as a consumer, one would never be happier. On the other hand, it may take them an hour and a half to deliver a lousiest chicken $%#^^@! parm sandwich that's soggy, flavorless and leave you with a violently weak abdomen. There is no formula either to get the good food and good service... Just be a gambler. Honestly, It ain't worth it. There are 20 other Italian Joints within a 1 block radius that would love to get your biz.

    Phone Home

This place has an annoying policy of not accepting caller-ID-blocked phone calls. Suppose you would rather give them the number yourself? Or have an unlisted number because you're famous or have had stalker problems and would rather give an alternate number from the one you're using to call? Stupid stupidheads. Plus, the food is not worth it, and when you go there in person they ignore you. Oh, wait, I must just have been invisible that day... There are so many great pizza places around that there's no excuse for this pitiful place.
