Not good.
Period. That's it. It just wasn't good. $16 for sausage and pep and basically it tasted like something you get in the frozen food section under "this week's specials." I am not a big fan of the pizza in this area but this was exceptionally not good... at all. Catch my drift?

Best Pizza By the Slice
Where else can you get a slice of Buffalo Chicken Wing Pizza? This place is GREAT. I used to walk by every day without even noticing, until I tried a slice. Now sometimes I can't even make it home without taking 5 and sitting inside for a slice. The service could not be better, these guys are really into what they do, and you will return for more. Very friendly joint, very tasty pizza.

Loved the place but will you...
Loved the place but will someone open the lights? The first time my wife and I drove by Vinnie's we thought it was closed. The second time around we saw someone go in and realized it was open. We were seated by a pleasent hostess, promptly ordered and within a reasonable time received our marvelous pizza. Thin, crispy crust topped with above average tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and some fresh basilWe ordered the Margherita pizza. MIdway into our enjoyment of the food, the chef decided to dim the lights to a point past romantic setting and not too far from blackout. Otherwise the food was better than what we anticipated and we will be returning.

forget about the others
vinnie's is where it's at: with a crisp crust that somehow inspires me to finish every last morsel, this place has a magic recipe that keeps me returning for more. what i love best about vinnie's is the vegan options - if you're not eating meat or dairy, be sure to try the "alice in wonderland," a delightful combination of spicy sauce, garlic, spinach, avocado and soy cheese. they're extremely accommodating to the vegan diet, which i really appreciate. the fresh tomato/mozzarella/basil pie was also amazing - my friend and i wolfed this down without even chewing. it's a bit pricey for a large pie, but these guys don't skimp on the toppings, and the service is always friendly, helpful and the delivery guy wears a great smile worth a big tip!

everyday.
I have to admit I visit this place everyday, and if not, every other day! I've been going here since I was 3 yrs old and with the new management it's even better.

Pretty much the perfect slice in Bkyln!
I recently discovered that Vinnie's has changed hands, when I wanted to grab a slice and mentally settled for the good but not great pizza I had tried there before. I was surprised and pleased to discover that the restaurant has been taken over by three new owners. They've managed to preserve the classics while adding lots of new, great things to the menu. I agree with the other reviewer -- the nacho slice is really great. I went there on Good Friday, and they had a shrimp scampi slice that was absolutely mouth-watering. As far as I'm concerned, their slices better than anything else in the area. In the past, I would have never wanted to sit down at a slice shop, but I find myself wanting to hang out at Vinnie's. The staff is funny, charming and eager to please. Good job, guys.

best slice on the Northside
This place recently changed owners. The new guys are young and clearly have plans for making it the best pizza-by-the-slice place it can be. I would say they're succeeding admirably. They cater to all tastes (they even do vegan cheese, fake-meat, etc.) and have daily special pies that are actually really good. Theirs stand in stark contrast to most of the others in the neighborhood whose specialty pizzas just seem like they're in competition to see how many crappy ingredients they can pile onto a crust without it falling apart. For example, they had a special tortilla slice that was sorta like nachos on a pizza. That may not sound good, but I'm tell you it was amazing. The new owners are almost always there with a smile and working hard to please. If you haven't been in a while, go check it out, cause if you ask me it's by far the best place for a slice in the area.
