This place has consistently good sushi and other Japanese cuisine, and it is a good value. It is admittedly not the best sushi place in the neighborhood, but better sushi around here will cost you more. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with service that is crisp and timely as you would expect in a Japanese restaurant. Outdoor seating is an option for warm seasons!

After the rude service of asking if I were ready after 1 minute, I ordered the seafood house special ramen. What's special about it is the amount of shrimp (2 pieces) and scallops (1 piece) that makes it a "seafood" and "special." Maybe what makes it special is the sauteed veggies in the soup, which was boiled with the soup (no crisp texture) instead of actually being sauteed. And they used the cheapest vegetables they could find--cabbage (not napa), onions, carrots, broccoli--to stuff the meal full of useless, bland, overcooked, decisively non-asian ingredients. If you value cheap ingredients cooked with carelessness, topped with rude service griping about your 15% tip, then come here!

be clear, Vine is no Nobu or Onu but in the Hamilton Heights area, it is the best sushi for delivery; especially now that all of the other sushi options have closed. p.s. I have never had a delivery man take money from my hand, because that is just NOT going to happen.

The food is average, verging on the bland side. Much worse, the delivery guys are egregiously rude; I give delivery guys 20 %, not a bad tip in my book. However the delivery guys ALWAYS criticize the tip amount, either shaking their heads at me while muttering profanities under their breath or literally pulling money out of my hand. Ridiculous!
