Wanted to like it
I was thrilled to see Greek coming to the neighborhood. I visited this place twice, hoping to love it. The first time was a weekend night and it was jammed. So much so that the waiters kept bumping into us as we were trying to eat. The food seemed decent, but we were so distracted by the jostling that it was hard to enjoy the meal. I visited it again on a weeknight when it wasn't as crowded. This time the waiter was flat out rude. 2 of us ordered 2 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers and main course. He seemed to be completely annoyed with our order. One of the appetizers was the stuffed grape leaves. It had some kind of sauce on it that was inedible. Astoria Greek spots can run rings around this place. I won't be back here despite the fact that it's a hop, skip and jump from my apartment.

Delicious Greek in Union Square!
Went there for dinner with a dear friend of mine. Had village salad, a generous helping of arugula, romaine, tomatoes, croutons and a Greek cheese called Manouri, which was grilled and tossed in a sesame honey dressing. Mouthgasm! I've been dreaming about this salad since I ate it last week! Fresh pita and olives came to our table twice! Service was friendly and quick. The bathroom is one of the nicest I've ever been in. Will definitely go there again!
