Great bar tab!
I drink at this bar a lot, and my bar tab is usually pretty low. Awesome!

Drinks - YES! Food - NEVER!
Its a dark place lite by candles with dark wood furniture and plush seats. Looks nice to have a couple of drinks with a date or even hang with the boys or girls casually. But don't have the food. The worst pesto gnocchi - giant lumps (size of thumbs) of what tasted like raw flour, most of which were sticking to each other. And where's the pesto?! There was no sauce! There was no flavor of pesto, basil, salt, pepper, nothing. I came to this place because the reviews were so good! Don't believe those reviews. Have the food at your own discretion, but just know I tried to warn you!

Always Delicious!!
Count on this neighborhood staples to satisfy any cravings for Italian food (I don't know why its listed under American..I guess its the name that throws you)...I've been a loyal customer for many years and I can honestly say that the Village Lantern serves the finest fare at the most reasonable prices...their staff ain't bad either!!

Good food, cozy environment
This place has really good food and has a cozy environment like you're in your living room. It is a bar/restaurant with friendly staff.
