What happened to the Village Den?
The Village Den used to be a great neighborhood diner...now it is just a place to avoid. Inattentive services, poor quality food...save your time & money & go elsewhere. They no longer care about doing business in the Village.

try somewhere else
we're village residents and count on Village Den for turkey meat loaf with mushroom gravy as comfort food in a crisis. But last night they forgot to put the mushrooms in the gravy and totally forgot to put the turkey in the meatloaf!! Come back to life Village Den! we need you!!

Traditional Diner
This is my local diner, it's old school and I love it. Staff are always polite and efficient.

NEVER gets delivery order correct
food = average ordering via delivery = never getting what you actually ordered

going down
As a Village Den regular i am sad to say that everything is getting poorer in quality and quantity and higher in price. The Greek Salad is wilty with barely a toss of feta, tasteless olives and zero grape leaves. Even the aesthetics of how the food is served is getting sloppy. Where is management?

where'd you go?
this used to be totally reliable for good solid diner food every time - but the past couple of visits left me very underwhelmed. the quality of the food is off, as is the quantity. i will try again....one more time, in hopes of the return of the real village den.
