I recommend the pork belly Banh Mi. First bite and you will be hooked.

I rarely make it to the UES, but we went up there to visit the Whitney Museum. We knew we wanted Vietnamese food afterwards, so we found this place. I got the bun xao and my fiance ordered the pork lemongrass entree. Food was excellent! Veggies were fresh, the meat was cooked perfectly, and so many noodles! Will be back next time we're in the neighborhood for sure.

Missing the bouillabaisse at the west side restaurant that is no longer, I tried Vietnaam's version. Yes, it is indicated spicy, I knew this and I like spicy. This version on a scale of one to ten is an eleven. The seafood in it is seriously lacking. I ate it twice ( huge portion) can not do it again. I scooped the ingredients out, again precious little sea food, rinsed it and will use it in a concocted salad of some creation. Be forewarned if this urge might be yours. It is expensive and is not a bouillabaisse, not even a Vietnamese version.

This restaurant which just re-opened under new management is superpb in many ways. The food is marvelous and served to taste. The staff greets you warmly and serves you with attentiveness The food is delicious and satisfying and for quantity and quality moderate in price. My wife and i enjoyed the following recently - a marvelous wanton soup made with shrimp wanton combined with pineapple, tomato, bean sprouts - its practically a meal in it self ! hint : order this soup without spice - if you order without that request you will get and exceeding spicy soup. Instead spice your soup with the assortment of spices provided at each table. one of their specialties - a deep fried whole snapper served in sweet and sour sauce which is tangy , wonderful and only slightly spicy. the other entree we ordeed was basil vegetables - a simple dish consisting of beautifully fresh veggies and tofu. we topped this off with some oolong tea and green tea ice cream. altogether a magnificent dinner bon appetit !

The salads are delicious. The Vegetarian Basket is delicious. The sticky rice is delicious. The Vietnaam Banh Mi sandwich is super duper delicious. Delivery is very fast. I would probably order from them more if they were part of an online delivery service.

Vietnaam replaced Veatery, and we were skeptical -- but the food is better, though the prices might have gone up slightly. The portions are consistently generous, and the food arrives (on delivery) fresh and very quickly (10 minutes after ordering). Excellent take-out
