    Perfection

Such a classy place. High-class, but not stuffy. Host is friendly, waiters are perfect: always available but don't hover. The raviolis are amazing (veal and seafood). Good wine selection. One of the busboys brought over appetizers that weren't ours, but the waiter just told him to leave them when he saw our confusion so we got two free appetizers! Flawless dinner.

    This place rocks

Vice Versa is hands down one of the best italian places in the city, but not everyone knows. The atmosphere warm and the decor is modern and clean looking. The staff is incredible as they seem to always be there when you need something. The food is sensational and i would highly reccommend.

    Leisurely Lunch Pre Theatre

What a beautiful setting to have a quiet lunch before a matinee. Our server asked if we were going to the theatre, kept this in mind, and timed our meal perfectly. The veal ravioli is fabulous! Dessert was to die for. Tiramisu or cheesecake...both fab. We loved the bread too. What a beautiful experience!

    Great Service

We ordered a bottle of wine and did not like it. The waiter noticed we were not drinking it and asked if it was ok. We said the wine was fine, but we did not like it and were going to order something else. He took the bottle away and did not charge us. At the end of the meal, he brought a free dessert. We asked for nothing but they gave us plenty. The lobster salad was excellent--the beans crisp and dressed well. The sea bass was topped with crunchy potatoes, and the prawns were large and plentiful. The squid ink pasta was not to our liking--a bit bland. We lingered for about 3 hours--there was no one rushing us to leave. Their $35 price fixed meal is a bargain.

    Good Choice

Found this wonderful resteraunt on Menupages.com when looking for a place to eat near the theater. I read the reviews and thought it was worth a try. We were not dissapointed with our choice. For the entrees, my wife had the prawns which were excellent and I had the grilled skirt steak which was also very good. Our only negative was that the food was slightly on the cool side which became cold toward the end. I realize that many gourmet restaurants serve that way, but we like our food hot.. The sevice was excellent and the atmosphere very nice. Whether you are visiting New York City or a tri-state local, give this restaraunt high consideration.

    Superior Italian

I work in the area and have been going to ViceVersa for years with both work colleagues for lunch and dinner and with friends for pre-theater. Anytime I have taken anyone new here, the response has been overwhelming positive. The food is just wonderful -- this is a gem is the theater district and great value for the quality of the food and service. Besides the dishes the other reviews recommend ---- try the homemade gnocchi, they are as delicious as any of the Mario Batali restaurants. And the Tiramisu is yummy but also has the unexpected presentation in a martini glass.

    What a wonderful place!

Loved the atmosphere in this place. They have a great outdoor courtyard in the back. The food and service were excellent.
