    Foul Deep Fried Food

I've been ordering from this place for several years. It used to be reasonably good but over the past few months I've noticed that the quality of the food has deteriorated. My most recent, and likely last, order included spring rolls and fried wontons. It's hard to describe what the smell and taste of those two items was like but it was foul. It effectively killed my appetite for anything else that evening. I'm guessing that they probably don't change the oil in the deep frier that often.

    This Place Is Perfect

This restaurant is everything you should look for in a neighborhood Thai place. The service is charming, the food is delicious the price is hard to beat This is a great place to go and just hang for hours have a bottle of wine and enjoy your company. Great for big groups. I love this place.

    Yuck!

Food was decent, besides the fact that the shrimp had a distinct freezer taste. Service wasn't good. The waitress was very rude, she brought my friend and I our check without asking if we wanted desert, so we told her we weren't finished she rolled her eyes and sighed. She also hounded me for a bigger tip, calling us back as we were leaving. On a completely disgusting note, another friend of mine had eaten there once and actually found a cockaroach in her food! How they have not been closed down, I have no idea. I will never eat there again.

    Best Thai In The Area

This is the best Thai place I have found in the city. I'm used to really mediocre tasting thai in queens. Viang Ping is the best I know of and the place I go to when I am in the mood for Thai. The Curry dishes, the pineapple fired rice (get it with the thai sausage- a little on the greasy side but worth it), the pad thai, and the pad see ewe are great. the atmosphere is quiet and serene. The service is the best out of any restaurant I've been to. Most likely because I'm the only one in the restaurant. But nevertheless, my water is never empty and my food comes out quickly. The lunch special is good price for the amount of food.

    Yet another mediocre Thai restaurant

I decided to check this place out during my lunch hour since this site seemed to give it some decent reviews. I was sadly disappointed. i was the very first customer to order lunch and it still took them about 20 minutes to come out with my Pad See Ew. In addition, my lunch was so greasy that oil was dripping out of the bag by the time I arrived back at the office. I am usually willing to overlook things like that if the food turns out to be tasty but my dish had been seasoned with fish sauce to such an overwhelming degree that it was pretty much the only flavor I could recognize. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is that the portions are very generous for the inexpensive price.
