To those who doubt Viang Ping: You don't deserve good Thai food. Viang Ping is the MECCA of tasty and complex thai, which will satisfy any craving. Try the beef salad or pad Kee Mao w/ duck.

Went there for a late dinner on a weekend night. The place was almost empty, so it was nice and quiet. The food, despite being served timely and with a smile, was unremarkable. Better Thai to be had elsewhere.

Great prices on the lunch menu, a welcome relief for those who work on the UES but do not live on the UES.

I've ordered dumplings, spring rolls, green curry, and rice noodle dishes from these guys. The first 2 are very unappetizing (especially the chicken dumplings). The green curry is what you'd expect (and not as good as what you can do at home if you cook). The noodle dishes are sloppy, greasy, and fit the bill if you are hungover. If you are craving "fresh" thai food...I don't recommend this place. Just another UES takeout joint. Sure wish we had better restaurants up here.

I eat here almost daily. You get huge portions and the price is cheap.

What an unexpected surprise! We came across this place on Menupages and decided to give it a try and were really impressed! The food is delicious and a great value!
