Excellent Chicken Soup
The food here was really good, you should try the chicken soup. It tasted like it was made from scratch. We found the prices to be reasonable.

A classic Manhattan experience!
Cash only, no bathroom, get over it, this is a classic Manhattan hole-in-the-wall. Great old Manhattan atmosphere that is hard to find anymore. You are packed in, and eat elbow to elbow with all the Manhattan characters. If you are a regular, like I am, they almost know what you want before you can say it. Very good omelets, (moist) turkey, and rice pudding. One evening I was in there and seated nearby was a classic Hollywood celeb. The owner told me he eats there every time he is in Manhattan!

Great stop for fuel on Madison shopping trip!
Yes, it is a plain coffee shop and may be highly priced for what you get, but well worth it for convenience, service, quality, and relaxed atmosphere after a day shopping with high maintenance retail vultures and customers! A welcome respite!

Super over priced!
Simple, small coffee $ 1.75, orange juice (which comes in a coffee paper cup) $ 3.75, eggs n home fries $14 anywhere else all that is half the price... If ur gonna make it only for wealthy ppl, then atleast make the place look rich, so us poor people wont get confused...

Absolutely the best Cappuccino in the city. Fast, hot, and delish!! My favorite place in the city, hands down. Shout out to George!
