Decent Food
Decent food, open late, the in restaurant service is not bad, the delivery service on the other hand is lacking. They regularly get orders wrong if you are ordering something that deviates from the menu in the slightest this includes asking for BBQ sauce and things without mayo.

Must be Under New Management
This used to be the place to order from late at night. The burgers were always cooked perfectly and were delicious. The best around. Now the guys that answer the phone are so rude it is ridiculous. They are just jerks. The food is so wrong. The buns were even stale. The burgers weren't cooked correctly and they just task bad. It's a shame but don't bother.

Not Bad for a 24 Hour Place
I agree with some of the other reviews but Viand is one of the best 24 hour places around. Tonight we ordered delivery and the guy who took the order was nice. The order came fast and the price was right for 2 burgers and they were delicious, however I do agree that some of their menu prices are overpriced.

Went downhill
The waiter was rude, didn't check up on us at any time during the meal, and slapped the check down before I could even order dessert or coffee. The food and burgers have been amazing, but not I noticed they are over priced and the quality has gone down hill. It is however, one of the better 24-hour places in the neighborhood. I jut wouldn't go if somewhere else is open.

Don't do delivery - do late night
Yes the prices have gone up quite a bit since I first started going here, but the only thing that will make a perfect night better is a stop here on your way home. The late night diner eats are great, say hello to Manny and just sit back and enjoy the show.

rude attitude
I called for a delivery and my phone was dropping; after a brief pause I heard "Are you going to order something" with a rude attitude... well I placed my order and im still waiting for the delivery; dont even bother to call.

don't believe the hype
Been here several times out of desperation, and following Zagat's advice. Overpriced, typical NY diner, which is to say, slop food doled out by cooks who take no pride in their work, and servers who want to divorce themselves from their product as much as possible. All the good reviews of here only reflect a low standard of eater the joint caters to. If you're reeeeally hungry, it's reeeeally late, and you don't have anything in the fridge, sure, it'll work. If you want good diner food, head to NJ.
