Been eating here for years and it's a nice space with good service BUT it's time to catch up to step it up. For the prices they charge, they should offer better coffee, better bread and turkey bacon, etc... If not, unfortunately I'm going to have to find a new diner!

I hadn't eaten in Viand in about 2 years. What a disappointment. Scrambled eggs tasted subpar, no whole wheat pancakes or turkey bacon and rancid coffee. At least they got the toast right on the 2nd try. This place used to be excellent. Now it's falling apart. It's just sub par and expensive.

Okay, it's the upper east side, so I won't complain that my tuna melt was eleven dollars or that my equally overpriced Coke was served in a six-ounce glass. However, at this price, I shouldn't receive an ice cold tuna melt with entirely unmelted, disgusting, cheap cheese, nor should it be accompanied by rancid cole slaw. Will never make this mistake again.

Great food, quick delivery. Typical diner with some specials thrown in for fun and color. A must on Madison avenue.
