This was quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had in NYC. I met my husband last night for a pre-theater dinner and after realizing he was still a few minutes away, I happily sat down at the bar for a dirty Kettle Martini. The bartender was friendly and poured my drink. I almost gagged on the first sip! The olive juice was completely rancid (gag reflex type of rancid!). When I asked for a new drink, he rolled his eyes at me... Fast forwarding to our dinner- we ordered a cesear salad that was completely watered down (could not distinguish the dressing AT ALL). Not to mention the teeny tiny crutons similiar to that you'd buy in the groccery store... I then asked my waiter for a reccomendation for an entree. Since I love mushrooms, he reccomended the mushroom rissotto (I LOVE rissotto). It came out on a huge platter and looked like a plate of hard, undercooked rice with tree bark. It was completely underseasoned, the rice was nowhere near cooked enough or creamy enough and the mushroom was hard and chewy. In addition to the horrible food, the restuarant was completely open yet we were seated next to a drunken old lady screaming at the top of her lungs. Overall this was a horrible experience and I cannot imagine anyone giving this place a good review. Don't go!!

I went here with a date and another couple on a Saturday night. We were basically the only people there and therefore we got good service. The staff was very friendly and had upbeat, pleasant demeanors. For the price, the food was pretty good! You know, it's not high class and quiet romance, but it's not low end family style. White linen table cloths and such... Decent decor.. I would definitely go there again and recommend it!

I love this place! Everytime I go, the food is perfect, and the atmosphere is wonderful.
