    Great early dinner value

$10 dinner entree till 6:30. Had chicken cashew fresh mango, very good. Even use 100% recycled toilet paper in rest room.

    Definitely no on delivery

I have eaten at the resturant and while the service was slow the food was okay. Wasn't anything to rave about I prefer La'annam down in Murray Hill. But I was craving vietnamese so I ordered delivery. The food arrived a hour later after calling 2 times, and it was cold and extremely bland. It was extremely overpriced! Never again..

    Pass on this place

Ordered online, and received the wrong order. Called and informed them of the error, they said they would send out the correct order, but 2 hours later, it still hasn't shown up. As far as the food is concerned, it was very bland. Will not be ordering from this place again.

    Just... ehhh

For the neighborhood, I suppose it's alright. But if you're looking for good Vietnamese food at good prices, your best bet is to go to Chinatown. Compared to the restaurants there, this food is INCREDIBLY bland. It's also more expensive. I had soft shell crabs, a spring roll, and the soup. The roll was the only decent dish. The crab was too greasy, and its vegetable accompaniment flavorless. The soup tasted like hot water and bouillon cubes. It was so disappointing that I couldn't even finish half of it. I had to run down to a Thai place a few blocks down and get the rest of my lunch there. Bottom line: don't bother. There is better Viet to be had, all over the city. The food is mediocre at best.

    Orgasmical banana pie!

This place is great food at a great price. Their banana pie alone is worth the trip. Also, good date place but the service could have been better...

    Excellent Food & Service

I have dined at Vermicelli and ordered delivery, the service and food at this place is exceptional! I'm so lucky that it is within walking distance from my apt :)

    Utter disappointment

I ordered delivery from Vermicelli while stuck at the hospital with my husband and my mother. We all love Vietnamese food and are from areas with large Vietnamese populations (France, Dallas). We were starving and excited to have some bun and pho. But when we all took a bite of our respective foods, our collective excitement shattered: The pho broth was so greasy and salty that it was unbearable to eat. There was barely any anise in the broth to give the fragrant, traditional flavor. It was basically an unfiltered, salty beef water. The bun with beef and spring rolls was just as flavorless. The marinade on the beef and the quality of the meat weren't actually too bad, but the accompanying pork spring rolls were drenched in grease and so stale and chewy that it contained no trace of how a nem is actually supposed to be presented and taste (light and crispy). The shredded lettuce in the bun was brown and the cilantro, barely present. In short, their food lacked all pleasurable traits of Vietnamese cuisine. The only point of consolation was its cheap price (lunch special). Needless to say, Vermicelli was an utter disappointment.
