One of the best options in neighborhood
I have been a vegetarian for 16 years, and have been ordering from here for about 2 years. It isn't the best veggie food I have had, but it is one of the best for what we have offered in the neighborhood. Some of it is a little too heavy and a little overpriced but they give you a lot. There are a lot of options, but it is definitely more on the comfort food side for the most part. However, you can always order plain veggies and tofu.

Absolutely amazing
I ate at Vegetarian Palate recently and had one of the best meals I have had in years. In fact, at the risk of sounding dramatic, it was probably one of the best meals I have had in my life. A friend took me there that loves the place and says it is always great. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the large amount of food that you get. I cannot wait to get back there. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

Try it!
Just try the chicken nuggets the best! Although the ambiance isn't anything special, the food and quickness makes up for it. Enjoy :)

Solid local option
I live right by this place and have eaten in and taken out several times. Overall it is quite good, the staff is fast and friendly, and the food is good. The mock meats are quite good crispy nuggets are popular if greasy chicken is your thing, they are quite tasty. I particularly like the soups and they really know how to make scallion pancakes properly also. The only thing I would say to stay away from is the shrimp I didn't care for the flavor and texture, which were vaguely shrimpy tasting sausagelike things that I had trouble eating. But everyone has different taste, and this place is quite decent. As for the decor, I found nothing wrong with it. This isn't fine dining but it's a far cry from storefront takeout.

Love this place
First and foremost the Crispy Nuggets are absolutely addictive. I could eat just these as a meal. My husband and I have tried a few things here and usually stick to the same order every time - Crispy Nuggets appetizer and Vegetarian Chicken with Celery. Add some Sriracha chili sauce to either or both of the above and you have a delicious meal and a race to see who gets the leftovers for lunch the next day. Not to be crass but in the vein of full disclosure, you will also be very gassy the next day. The WonTon soup is pretty good comfort food. Lightly flavored. Didn't really care for any of the other apps, except maybe dumplings. I have tried almost all of them. Some things on the menu sound too weird to order like the fish chafing dish. I've tried a few of the other dishes but nothing ever compares to the celery chicken so I stick with what I know. We have only had take out , but the staff is very nice on the phone and the delivery guy is a sweetie. Although it seems expensive, the portions are generous so I;d say the value is good.

Great Veggie Comfort Food
I've been ordering from here at least once a week for the past year and a half, and have yet to find a friendlier or faster delivery service. The food may not be particularly subtle, but it's absolutely delicious in a comfort food way, and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. I personally recommend - Mango Chicken, Beef w/ Broccoli, and the Crispy Fried Noodle. But I've yet to be seriously disappointed with anything I've ordered, so uh, go nuts!

Poor vegetarian food
As a lifelong vegetarian, this had to be one of my worst take-out experiences to date. One, the food was seriously overpriced for what you got -- a sad excuse for veggie Chinese. Second, the meals were bland and unappetizing, which vegetarian fare truly need not be. My friend and I ordered appetizers and entrees but by far the best part of the meal was the tater tots.. that pretty much says it all.
