Fantastic veg. food for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. I'm a vegetarian, but I've gone to this place several times with meat-eating friends who are repeatedly blown away by how similar some of the items are to the real meat equivalent. One of my friends didn't believe it was vegetarian! My favorites here are the Orange Seitan, the General Tsos Soy Protein, and yummy yummy yummy Malaysian Curry Stew! Their tofu teriyaki sizzling platter is delicious too. Oh and they have a fantastic selection of appetizers, like fried spinach dumplings, fried tofu, curry samosas, and Crispy Watercress & Soy Cheese Wontons, amongst a few of the great options. And their lunch specials: any entree, your choice of soup, and your choice of brown or white rice, ALL for $5.95. This happens on weekends too! Try it out...you won't be sorry.

My husband and I dined there and the food was outrageous! He is more of a meat eater and he was very pleased with the food. The staff was exceptional, everyone was nice and the service was great. We ordered the salt and pepper seitan, the Jade Mushroom, and the General Tso's-- which were all great! We will definitely dine there again soon *****

If you are looking for healthy, delicious veg food your carnivore lover can enjoy, this is it!! My husband is a meat guy and he is always ready to eat at Veg Ginger. May I recommend the lettuce wraps, and DEFINITELY the Malaysian Curry Stew! The pumpkin soup is addictive as are the pumpkin slices. You will love it. And if you eat there, it's BYOB! Value, my friends. The staff is super nice!

I enjoyed this experiece very much. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. The price was reasonable. I would definitely be going back.

This place went beyond my expectations. I always thought that vegetarian food would be all vegetables, but it's not all vegetables, there's soy protein (vegetarian chicken), seitan (vegetarian beef). Which tasted so good. Lunch special was $5.95 with soup, rice, and entree of your choice. I am proud to say that I love vegan vegetarian food.

My food was just soft, brown, and completely tasteless. My friends' food was barely better. When I tried politely to send my dish back the staff refused, saying there was nothing wrong with the dish. It took so much back and forth to get them to take the food back that I didn't even want to order other food. Instead of offering once and listening to my refusal, they harassed me multiple times about how I needed to order other food and why wouldn't I. In summary, subpar food, no atmosphere, rude service, and a waste of money. More proof that Montague Street has nothing to offer. Walk to another neighborhood.

I don't think I've ever ordered from a place with nicer staff. The amount of food you get for the price is a great deal and I've liked pretty much everything I've gotten here. I order delivery from them, without fail, several times a week and the woman who answers the phone is soooo nice. They're incredibly friendly and helpful every single time. And they have amazing lunch specials! Totally worth a stop in for lunch on the weekend.
