Great Vietnamese food
Visiting NYC, we were staying in downtown and chanced upon this restaurant and were very happy to have found this place. The food was great and service was excellent and prices were reasonable (compared to London so not sure how this fairs with other NY restaurant). Will definitely go back if we are back in NYC.

Great Food and Ambiance !!!
I am reading a lot of reviews here that its too expensive for Asian and Vietnamese food. Thats just Bollocks !!! Why should Asian food be cheap and French, American and Italian can charge whatever they can? As an Asian myself, I think its rather racist and derogatory to just expect any and everything coming out of Asia or Asian restaurant has to be cheap. This whole Chinatown and everything Asian has be cheap is something I would expect of only small minded cheap sort of people. I believe the prices and food should be judged independently without the connotation of it being Asian or not. On that note, I have to say I found this restaurant FANTASTIC. The decor is nice and the location in Tribeca brings about a crowd thats pretty eclectic. The drinks are great though i loved the Vietnamese beer 33 and Saigon. I am a vegetarian but my date was not and both of us couldn't agree more that both our individual dishes - appetizers and mains were GREAT. I ordered the Veggie crab cakes they were super (crisp golden brown on the outside with a great dipping sauce) and then as a main I had this chilli Seitain dish which was spicy, the way I like my food. The food was flavorful and yummy. My date got chilli calamari which she mentioned was uniquely done and was really good. For her main, she got a fish (snapper I believe) which was also cooked in spices and sauce which made it look really good and she agreed it was indeed really good. All in all, a great place in NYC to get some GREAT Vietnamese food.

The best Asian cuisine I ever tried!
Lovely place, amazing food! Definitely should try skewers, chilly calamari, crab cakes and desserts (coconut and green tea cakes) - delicious!

"meh"
Funny that you are required to rate the atmosphere as I have never been there, only ordered delivery.. Same for Service. gave it a high rating cause they delivered FAST in the snow storm... ordered the Chicken Fried Rice.. Standard. My co-worker ofered the Pho Ga (chicken soup broth..): appears: standard. Portions are fine. lots of bad reviews on the site. I would probably order from here again, but not in a rush

rip off..such a rip off
This place..while they do have a few tasty options, is completely over priced and is a prime example of utterly poor staffing. If you feel like ordering another diet coke is a real hinderance on your waiters personal life, go here. If you enjoy paying $25 for 6 small pieces of duck fat- Viet is for you. Tacky interior- over-rated food- bothered and slow service.( Though i’m sure you can eat healthy as they don’t give you anything)…)
