    Great Ice Cream!

I love the Van Leeuwen food truck, they have great coffee and ice cream so when my best friend and I saw that they opened a store near St. Marks Place, we got really excited. The service is definitely a let down. The girl working there acted like she was bored with her job and was very cold, usually the people in the food truck are really nice.

    Service with an attitude

I have gone for my morning coffee here multiple times and the barista is usually unfriendly, and makes makes me feel like I am imposing or meaningfully inconveniencing them by simply coming in and asking for a cup of coffee. They should be thanking ME for their business.... maybe the afternoon staff is friendlier.. but dont expect coffee with a smile in the morning!

    Amazing!

The Early grey tea ice cream is one of the most unique and best flavors I've ever tried ... Expensive but worth it

    Good start but...

The ice cream here is great, but I went around 9pm on a Saturday night and they were out of pretty much everything besides vanilla, chocolate, and cinnamon. Fine, but not the most exciting. I appreciate that the ice cream is prepared in small batches, but you have to be able to support your client base! Hopefully they are just working out the kinks. Oh, and there's no AC so it was pretty sticky there during the heat wave.

Good ice cream; some rough spots

Cute venue. Clean and welcoming. The ice cream was pretty good, but the server did not clean the scoop before serving my mint chip. The scoop was contaminated with a very pungent, unappealing flavor. The first few spoons of my mint chip were ruined. At $4.50 a scoop, they ought to have the sense to rinse off the ice cream scoop before serving a new flavor. Oh, also, it is pricey.
