This place has an awesome atmosphere and the food is great! The pasta is sooo good! (And it is all young people - it does not feel like a nursing home) My husband and I go here often and it is always great!

I have been here three times and just can't bring myself to go back. The service keeps ruining the experience and the food doesn't make up for it. There is one dish I really like, the veal pappardelle. When I think about it ahead of time, I call ahead and pick it up since they don't deliver.

Have been to UVA in the past a few times. Loved it to begin with, however after a few visits the geriatric crowd sorta made me feel like I was in a nursing home. Love the food, the vibe is eh wine bar esque, however due to the aging clientele i think i will have to opt for a more downtown location. Not to stray you away! Great for a quiet night with the rents.

every dish is delicious from the gnocchi, to the eggpland parm, the salmon...cannot go wrong with any of the apps either. the desserts are also incredible. you literally cannot go wrong. the gelato makes me weep it's so good. this is my favorite spot on the ues for the food but also the intimate setting. outdoor seating is sweet and cozy. i've been downstairs for group dining, nice spot, not as nice service but the food makes up for it. great date spot, very romantic. wine is delicious and everything is very inexpensive. i love uva.

Food was ok (nothing to write home about) but the service was terrible. We waited for over an hour for anyone to take our order. And then when they finally brought the food out, another hour later....they forgot one of the dishes. My opinion on Uva: save your money, go somewhere else.

Been here a few times with my fiance and its just the perfect lil date spot. It's dark inside, very cozy and the backyard garden is really nice. Great wine selection and amazing pasta. Definitely a place to take a chick or have a girls night out. The kitchen also stays open till 2am. Reccommend the meatballs and the pesto pasta.

This place is a small italian place introduced to my by a friend. It was fairly difficult to find (when I went there was scaffolding right next to it obscuring the sign) Once you enter it is a small dim place, that is usually packed. The bar tenders are fantastic and make really strong drinks. When seated they are very small tables (I wouldn't suggest a large crowd here) but the food was fantastic. I am not usually a fan of gnocchi, but it is more riccota base here instead of potato, so it was light and delicious. The buffalo mozzarella app was full of flavor and very fresh. Then finally the dessert was one of their specials, I believe it was a neapolitan cake with carmel sauce. It was fantastic! Can't wait to return!
