3 hours to get a lobster roll
I ordered a lobster roll for delivery today and received it 3 hours later. I called after 1 hour and was assured it was on it's way. The lobster roll was sub-par at best. I won't order from this establishment again.

Quick seafood takeout.
I had been bugging my boyfriend for weeks that I wanted lobster rolls for lunch and we took a stroll over to find the Urban Lobster shack that I googled and found to be close enough to walk to for lunch. They were closed but realizing that it was raining outside and we walked all the way there the owner came back down the escelator to reopen for us! Needless to say that is GREAT Service. She was a sweetheart and we not only had lobster rolls but tried the clam strips.. The clam strips turned out to be the better option. They came with these tasty fries that surprised your mouth. The lobster rolls were not that bad! With the great convo and good food we actually ordered delivery service the very next day. We love mom and pop restaurants so we are going to continue to support as often as possible.

Not happy
I ordered delivery and it was such a waste of my money! The bisque was way too thick. Lobster roll was just ok. I also ordered sides of mac n cheese and asparagus, both were so gross and only took one bite of each.A rip off at $5 each I could have made better!

Very good lobster rolls
I've had the lobster rolls in the garlic buns twice now, and I think they are a great deal for 11 bucks! I grew up in new england eating these things too (like some), and I think these are pretty good for being of the "lobster salad" variety. Claw chunks right on top. Since it comes with cole slaw and side salad, it fills me up for lunch.

Tiny portions & too sweet
I was super excited when I discovered this new lobster roll joint in my area, being a huge lobster / crab roll fan. I checked it out, and was disappointed to find that it's a take-out shack. There's no seating there, so you have to eat in the atrium there, or take it somewhere else. At first, I thought the prices were reasonable, until I saw the portions. TINY!!! For the amount you get, it should be at least half the price. Then, there's the taste factor. I grew up in Long Island, and grew up on these things, so I can safely say I know how these things should taste. This place does something weird... the bread is way too buttery & greasy, and they put something in the mayo to make the lobster & crab taste way too sweet. Sadly, I will never go back there again, as excited as I was that Manhattan finally got a lobster / crab roll place.

Awesome Value Esp for $10
My coworker and I were walking on Park Avenue and approached by a 6 foot lobster-suited man who gave us a menu for the Third Avenue Urban Lobster Shack. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to walk over and check it out, and are we glad we did. The lobster roll lunch special consists of a very generously stuffed and deliciously buttery bun along with a very nice side salad -with dressing on the side- and a small side of cole slaw. The lobster salad was absolutely delicious and not mayo-ey at all -a great surprise. My friend had the Bisque along with her roll and didn't stop raving about it. Granted, the line was a bit long but after eating the food here and getting such a great deal we now know why and we are going to do it all over again this week! The wait is well worth it and we can't wait to go back!

Not good
I tried the lunch special- lobster roll that comes w/small salad and potato salad (the size of a ketchup container). The main item- lobster roll was not good. The bread was drenched in butter, greasy, and size of a hotdog. The lobster wasn't that fresh either. Not worth the $10, walk away!
