just plain great
best chinese food in and around Chelsea not called Grand Sichuan. Love this place. Hope they stick around. Great veggie and omnivore dishes and drinks. Healthy.

Bring back Home on Eighth
Not sure why but since it's become Urban Kitchen the food is not as good. They used to have amazing scallion pancakes that are now not so good. The sesame noodles are very so-so as well. This used to be my favorite restaurant. Not sure what happened.

Excellent for vegetarians AND omnivores
This place has both a vegetarian and a meat menu, so that makes it more likely that your non-veg friends will go there with you. Everything I have had was VERY tasty!!! My favorite are the veg chicken skewers. The veggie Chinese dishes are excellent. My boyfriend loved the regular chicken and broccoli. Urban Kitchen is truly a gem and all of the staff are attentive and personable.
