Thought I'd take out my mum and brother to this place when they cam over a few months ago and thought "This should be nice". At the end I knew "This is rubbish". The food was poorly cooked, when we complained about cold fries, they re-fried the same food and they went like little sticks. When asking for some remediation we got nothing. Having lived here for a little while now I wouldn't deal with this place. Only pro was the alcohol but then again they didn't have to make that, only serve it! Go somewhere else, jsut don't bother... shame!

Great food for eat in or delivery. Great drinks and friendly service. Food is fresh and delicious!

I regularly have brunch here, for $15 it is excellent value and you can share some of the dishes. The blueberry pancakes are excellent but they give you 3 large pieces - share it! For the regular stuff you should try the chicken and goat cheese quesadilla, as well as the mussels in tomato sauce. Mussels are very flavorful and taste lots better than the eat-all-you-can at La Tour. Generous wine serving!

Great service. I loved the healthy serving of moderately priced yet good wine they poured. The appetizers were mediocre. I had calamari, stuffed mushrooms, and buffalo style chicken fingers. Calamari and chicken were served lukewarm and stuffed mushrooms were just a blob of barely melted cheese on top of portabellos. The entrees though were much better. I had a salad and my friends had steaks and sandwiches. They said they liked their entrees and their portions were large. I liked the atmosphere and again, the service was great. I would go back if I was in the mood for a chill night. I would definitely order some wine but stay away from their appetizers.

If you need a night out to catch up with all of your friends but do not really dig the club/loud bar scene - then Uptown is your place. The wait staff will accomodate whatever size party you have (we've had up to 15 people with us once). The service is excellent and the food is great. My favorite part about Uptown is the "healthy pour" of wine they give you. For an average of $8/glass, Uptown bartenders will hook you up. Great value.

This place is always great. I've never had bad service or bad food. The chicken wings are fantastic and the rosemary and goat cheese stuffed chicken breasts are excellent. I also highly recommend the White Sangria. This place is far from the homogenized Upper East Side standard. Although I no longer live in the area, this place is definitely worth the trek up to 89th street!

I came here on a drinks date, and was impressed by the laidback but stylish atmosphere. I decided to bring my parents back here for dinner and was rewarded with a lovely dinner (we had the filet mignon and duck) and great service. Definitely a place I'll be returning to!
