    ridiculous

they brought unasked for bottled water-replaced it with warm water-finally added some ice Blueberry pancakes were five tiny ones half the size of silver dollar pancakes couldn't even use fresh blueberries in the middle of the summer-used frozen ones asked for bread -was told it comes with the meal. Would we like toast or a croissant-asked for croissant-came with a $4 charge (croissant is not bread)

David Bouley is not paying attention

Is anyone paying attention? I don't know who is running this restaurant, but they have problems. I've been 10 times, for starters, it is always the poorest service. Normally I put up with it because the food is decent and its close to my apt, but last night I had an unpleasant meal there. Ordered the heirloom tomato salad - the tomatoes were not even close to being ripe, they were rock hard. Who would put that food out? My fish, extremely over cooked. I can't take any more of the poor service or the inconsistent food, it's just too expensive to be dealing with that all the time. David Bouley is totally out of touch.

Service was no good... food did not even begin to make up for it

Never have we experience such poor service. It took nearly 30 mins between courses...and come on the set up is not complicated. I have no idea what was going in the kitchen because no food was coming out.

    poor service, expensive

We've been waiting 30 minutes to be seated, than an hour more to be served. Half of our order was missing and the rest was cold. It's a shame! Prices are high and quantities are low... My advise, eat at another place !

    Favorite Restaurant in NYC

simply amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful experience. Sneak a peak at the pastries in the bakery and request one for dessert... a perfect end to a great night.

    Nightmare

Well let's just say the hype isn't warranted for this ripoff. Food was served cold and 30 minutes later, they charged more than the menu prices showed, (not to mention 1 poached egg with 5 potatoes was $15), and the service was horrendous. Yes the bakery is delicious, Mr. Bouley should've stuck with bread.

    Awesome!

I went there on a whim for Sunday Brunch. It was honestly the best brunch I have ever had. The Bouley Burger and lobster omelet are a must. The only problem with the place is there isnt enough seating and the service is very slow. If you have the patience to wait for great food then you must try this place!
