Now I have been here in the United States for about 8 years I am also from the Island. Sunday night my significant other and i decided to try this restuarant for the first time and we were not disappointed. Being that i am from the Island i must say this is first time i had food that reminds me of home and i have eaten at other westindian restuarants. The owner is very pleasant so friendly, the potion of the food is just right. I would recommend Under D tree to others and i am certainly going back.

Well I went there a couple of days ago and the food was pretty good. Kind of expensive for a medium plate but still worth it.

I discovered this place about three weeks ago,and the food was like home cooking. It was great to see the warm smile from the young lady that took up my food. The owner was engaging. Sometimes you go to buy food and you change your mind because the server is rude, but you will not see that at this place. Go check it out especially the oxtail.

I happened upon this place while I was apartment hunting in the area. I was famished and this place hit the spot. My boyfriend, who isn't familiar with Jamaican food, asked the gentleman behind the counter to give him something good, and the gentleman more than delivered. I am a vegetarian, and the vegetable patty I had was delicious. My boyfriend and I washed it all down with their amazing, homemade gingerbeer. I will definitely return.

I ordered a wonderful curry chicken which came with rice, peas and plantains. The service was quick and friendly. I hope to go back sometime soon.

I ordered a small jerk chicken and it was more than enough with the side of vegetables and plaintains it came with. i live in the neighborhood and am always happy to find new spots for good, cheap food. there are a couple of tables if you want to sit and eat, but it's more of a takeout/delivery type of joint.
