    Nick Nack Paddy Whack!

Nick, your review should work it out. Let us not dispute - the food is scrumptious. Try the flaming cheese appetizer or the grill octopus and you will clap your hands in the air! However, if the wait staff is slow or inattentive, one must notice. I did. Food was ordered, came by busboy, cleared by busboy. Service was friendly, but when a large table arrived for the same waiter we were all but overlooked. IF ONE should one want personalized service Nick should not question this. After all, we are paying a gratuity!

    Great Food and Value

Have been 3 times now and can't wait to go back again. Great food, good value (especially the house wine in the carafe) and upbeat atmosphere. Best Greek restuarant in the city!!!

    Okay food, poor service

Food was pretty good, although I've had better--some of it was a bit bland. Service had problems. Two of the three waiters (?) spent most of the time standing around, and even when we made eye contact, they failed to stop by the table. It took a good ten minutes to get anyone interested in bringing us a check at the end of the night, and even then, we had to ask twice.

    Solve the Puzzle Emm

Oh hey Emm, It's not about the water and it's not about wether you need anything else at the end of the meal. Order what you want (flaming cheese) and order your drinks twice, then drink and be merry because Uncle Nick's is the greatest Greek resturant in New York and a great time, everytime. It will take an hour, but it will not disappoint. Zing

    Epitome of poor service

Used to be one of my favorites... went back recently and disappointed in the service. I am hoping it was just our waiter -- asked 4 times for water refill, forgot our drink order -- did not ask if we needed anything else at the end of our meal. And it was NOT busy- most of the waiters were standing around talking. Food was pretty good -- but the poor service ruined the experience.

    Fabulous Tapas

Pleasantly surprised at the quick service, fabulous food. The grilled octopus was to die for. Portions were large. We were happy to eat great food after a great show!

    Always Great!

This is the best restaurant! There are two side by side but are the same. One is smaller and seems trendier, the other larger and brighter. The food is fantastic. Lamb chops are good. Their whole grilled fish are superb as is the appetizer for two which features many Greek options. Delicious! The baklava is good, a bit pumpkin spice for me. The rice pudding is the best!
