Wonderful!
I came and sat at the bar and ended up PIGGING OUT!!! Taramouslata was good... sweetbreads were good (but could have been sliced thinner) grilled calamari and octopus was fantastic! Would recommend Nick's if you are in the area or even pre theatre.

Great food and wine
My girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday night post-theatre. The restaurant was close to full when we arrived and the service was very good. We shared the hot dandelion salad, grilled octopus and calamari, lamb kabobs and grilled porgy. The dandelion was very bland (could have saw that coming), everything else was great. Never had porgy before so we decided to try it and it was very tasty, moist. The octopus and calamari was also excellent. The lamb kabobs were good, nothing outstanding. We had a greek red wine which also was good, but can't remember the name.

2 Courses in 2 Hours!
After living in Hell's Kitchen and walking often by this place, my wife and I decided a couple weeks after moving to another neighborhood to duck in here to eat and get out of the rain. Ordered a tapas course then a few entrees--tapas were out within 10 minutes but it took over 40 minutes to get the entrees and only then after I walked up and asked if they were on the way. I guess I'd be more sympathetic if it was really busy but it wasn't (at all) and at least two tables who arrived more than 20 minutes after we did. Food-wise, nothing special either, unless you're a big fan of overcooked lamb and really low grade seafood.

I love this place. They have the best Greek salads in the city!!! I order and eat here all the time.

Really great food!
My husband and I went here for the first time on Saturday and will definitely be back. We sat at the bar and had a few of the appetizers. The octopus was some of the best we've ever had, and there was a really healthy portion for the price. The baked feta and the sausages in wine sauce were also really good. I would recommend paying $1 for the pita, which was completely worth it. Great experience!

Good, but not Astoria..
The food here was really delicious. My only complaint was that it was a bit pricey. If you're in the area and are looking for a good place to try then I recommend it, but if you are looking for great and cheap Greek food, go to Astoria.
