    Awesome Sushi delivery!

Extremely consistent, delicious sushi at great prices. Get the shrimp mango roll! The sushi is actually not all made with pureed fish as someone on this site said -- it depends on the sushi chef each night. Sometimes the rolls are shredded fish and sometimes they are large pieces -- they are always from top-quality fish, though, and supremely fresh and tasty! Delivery is always under half an hour and I've never gotten a wrong order (and I order maybe 3 times a week). It's honestly the best sushi value I know of, and the sushi is better than Tomoe or Yama or the other much-touted places.

Clean sushi made w/care, a Great price

I work in the neighborhood and go here very often. I wasn't even a big sushi fan before, but they have such a selection of fish and seafood rolls. Tiny place - cramped, but their lunch specials are very affordable. I go back every week.

    Not recommended

I went here based on the reviews on this page, much to my disappointment. All the sushi was made with pureed fish. The flavor was not bad (the Gunpowder roll was ok), but it felt heavy and processed. The spicy salmon roll did not taste like salmon. Despite the allure of a cheap lunch menu, I would not recommend this place.

    Fab food, little $$

Always try the hole-in-the-wall places - you never know when you will find a gem. I stumbled across this place by accident - and they are a bargain! Great prices for lunch sushi, very inventive rolls (which are huge), and the cost a fraction of what you will find in fancier places. The decor is tiny, but who cares? Try the sweet potato roll, or the spicy banana roll - I dare Nobu to make better. Check these folks out - you won't regret it.

    Best sushi in the neighborhood!

I order from Umi almost every week. The service and value are great. The rolls are amazing and very unique. I recommend the shrimp mango roll. Very good!

    Great Sushi, Great Prices

The fish is fresh and delicious, the special rolls are inventive and awesome and the other dishes are excellent. Even at higher prices, I would order from Umi, but it's also an absolutely excellent value. It's a great addition to the neighborhood!

    Best sushi in Murray hill

I moved to Murray hill last year and tried so many sushi places in the area, this is by far the best! Their rolls are fresh and they don't skimp on the fish, the restaurant itself is small but the service is great. I order from here at least once a week.
