Umi is awesome!
I love it here. You would never know by looking at the exterior of the restaurant, but this is one of the better sushi places in the CITY! The fish is very fresh and well prepared, and the rolls are exceptional. GO! You probably think you're too cool for this place, but you're not. The chefs are incredible. Good delivery too!

Thank You Umi Sushi
I love sushi. I love to not spend a lot of money on great food. Umi sushi makes me very, very happy. The use really good ingredients and high quality, fresh fish and their lunch specials cost just about what a sandwich would -- 2 rolls, soup, salad for 7$. Lunch was never so good.

umi sushi, will you marry me?
We have been together for about a year now. I know that it is not too long but we do love each other 4 life. Our conversations are short but sweet. Our dinners together are always romantic and delicious. You complete me and I can't imagine my life without you. So, Umi Sushi, will you marry me? Oh, and wait - 4 diet snapples. Thanks.

Best Fusion Sushi!
Me and my Mexican friend had dinner at Umi Sushi for the first time. I am sushi lover and I know that the UMI chef is able to create special fusion sushi. I really recommend others, who love fusion sushi, to visit UMI and choose Chef Special Menu. They can mix the ingredients i.e. crab, avocado, tempura, tobiko into 1 roll delicious sushi. I ordered Rocky Roll. Please try it! The salmon sashimi is so fresh and the slice is big for me! The place is quite comfort for two, not for family size. Have fun!

So Good
This is my first review on menupages - I just signed on to check the Umi menu and read the last post and felt compelled to say something. Love Umi Sushi - the spicy tuna with avacado is amazing. Vanilla tempura ice cream is also amazing. Kani salad, eggplant with mizu, beef terriyaki (love), etc. all very good. The sushi rolls are huge - packed - It's the only place I'll order-in sushi from in MH - consistent, big portions, totally organized, fast delivery, no problems. totally worth trying it - oh, and i also sometimes ask them to make me custom rolls, etc. and they are completely cool with that.

Unimpressed
I was extremely disappointed with the sushi after reading such rave reviews. it had a weird texture and the salmon was subpar. i would recommend other sushi places for local MH sushi, but not this place.
