Prepare to be disappointed!
Without a doubt you can be sure the service will be PAINFULLY SLOW! Quality of food is MEDIOCRE AT BEST, and you can be sure they won't remember any special requests or prepare your burger as requested. The location is great, but keep walking further in on Stone street, as there are MUCH BETTER OPTIONS available!

Hamburgers should be juicy and hot
A few weeks ago a few co-workers and I headed to Stone Street for some adrienne's Pizza. When we saw the line was extremely long, we decided to try Ulysses instead. It was such a beautiful day out, we just wanted to eat outside. Ulysses definately was empty outside compared to Adrienne's. We each ordered 3 hamburgers, one with mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and plain. After waiting almost 15-20 minutes for a burger, one would think that you would be getting a fresh burger, juicy, tasty, with melted gooey cheese. The burger was so bland, cold, and the cheese was not melted at all. Possibly the first time I've ever picked up a burger and could not get through it. The price is definitely not worth.

Great place, Great food, Bad Attitudes
I love this place but only go certain nights for certain bartenders as some of the gals that work their can be drama queens with negative attitudes. I read recent reviews and the Brunch is indeed very good and the value for the buck is good. As for servers, you get what "they" pay for. If a restaurant is going to pool tips like Ulysees for their employees, only the desperate and unqualified will apply, that is an industry given. If they gave each server their own, service would be top notch (bartender service is very good regardless)! For best service at the bar request Keith, Shauna or Noel as your servers for a personalized and friendly visit.

Ulysses is good but not great
they do not have a good brunch menu, on Sunday and Saturday people don't want fruit and lobster, we want the Nachos and burgers to watch football on Sat and SUN. they refuse to serve these, it is not like they don't have it in the kitchen they are just trying to be posh Ulyssess is a neighborhood bar corner stone so stop acting like a sell out stary eyed wanna be irish bar. PS get satellite TV.

Gone downhill
We've been regulars at Ulysses since 2004. The level of service has really declined over the last 18 months. Either the owners are stretched too thin with all of their other businesses or they can't find good staff. Either way, if I am willing to give you my money, at least be courteous and knowledgeable about what your offering. Our server couldn't even tell us when the kitchen would reopen after brunch, "1-2 hours, not really sure" we were told. I took my money elsewhere. I guess they don't have to try so hard anymore.

Good Burgers
Ulysses' is a good place for burgers in the Stone Street area. The fries are better than average. Overall, a good place for lunch, but service is usually slow.
