Great Fried Chicken
Every time I go in there, someone is ordering something fried. No wonder. They have the best and most inexpensive fried chicken on the UWS. But, you have to eat it hot. If you don't order something fried, stick to the standards - chicken and broccoli, beef with string beans, etc. Great service once they get to know you.

Greasy
Don't expect anything special. Maybe they do a couple of dishes well, but all I saw was a heavy serving of grease. Judging by the looks of the place, I should not have been surprised. I just moved in around the corner and I was hoping for a hidden gem. I will go back when I need a cheap, deep fried fix of General Tso's, but this is not for the gourmet.

Great, fast & friendly
Good chinese food - very fast delivery. Nothing too fancy, but a great staple on the take out food pyramid. We've tried ollies and a few others, but this place still makes the top of the list.

Good food in a hole-in-the-wall
The food is on the whole tasty and it is cheap. Anyone who thinks they need great service in a take-out Chinese like this has got to be a bit of a moron, don't you think? Anyway, I used to eat the hot and sour soup and the ribs all the time with my ex (but that's another story!), and I recommend this for those who are stuck on the West Side and don't wanna cook.

Poor service
I've been to this place twice. The first time, the food was fine, no big deal. The second time I went they just took an order from someone, and the woman stepped away from the counter. I stepped up, and she came back. No one came up to me to take my order. I just stood there for a minute, there was a guy behind the counter sitting who just didn't want to take an order. I didn't realize that these places could pick and chose who they want to take orders from. I don't think I should have to yell "Excuse ME!" in a place where they need my money.

Decent take out
Good chinese food for take out, the atmosphere really isn't that good for dating e.g., but it's allright to sit back and chow down. Value is good but I have seen better, and actually I have had better "chinese" food but on east side near where I work.

Pretty great Chinese on the cheap
I've been taking out from here for years...love, absolutely love the roast pork egg foo yung, tastes to me like it used to taste when I was a kid growing up in the Bronx. I wouldn't get the ribs here, but everything else is very, very tasty and made right in front of you.
