this place is the best thing to happen in the kosher food world

The U cafe is by far the nicest kosher dairy restaurant in the city---its a place that I can feel comfortable bringing my non-kosher friends who often believe in poor stereotypes of kosher restaurants--this place is adorable--its bright, airy, and not to mention the food is delicious, fresh and always presented well---sure it may be a bit pricey--but u need to pay for quality--which is what the U cafe is-great quality...and not to mention the staff are all warm, friendly. b'teavon!

    Shocked by pricing

Food is fine. Pricing is insane!! They need a reality check or they won't survive. Fine dining prices for a sandwitch shop / cafe. Can't believe people bother.

    Overpriced

Food is surprisingly good, especially the salads. However, for what it is, it is extremely overpriced. It it were more reasonable I would probably go all the time. As it is, I hardly ever go, because for only a little more you can go to much nicer restaurants.

    I love this place!

U Cafe is great! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious! Everything is super fresh. I usually get soup and a sandwich or salad. The soups are all great and I recommend the Viva Italia sandwich or Haloumi salad.

    Simply Nice

Took my wife there last night for dinner. THe food was great. The decor of the restaurant is funky, we loved. My wife and I simply enjoyed the whole evening. Itsa fun place to eat. We had the Sea Bass Special with the Quinoa, hopefully spelt it right, was great. I left there satisfied.

A solid additon to the neighborhood

I've ordered from them many times though we tend to stick to the salads and middle eastern samplers, which are very good, a definite cut above local diners etc. The Saloniki salad is delightful and the middle eastern sampler platters awesome and fresh. This is how hummus, tabouleh, and babaganoush are suppposed to taste (sorry about spelling). Delivery friendly and the employees are nice. I have not had much else on the menu

    Amazing!

I live in teh neighborhood and go there pretty often. The food is amazing! I have never once had a dish that I did not like. The service has gotten better as time has passed, although still a little slow. I have met the owner countless times and he always asks if there is anything that needs improvement.
