Proof that there is no accounting for taste
It boggles my mind that this place has been open so long. The food is truly unremarkable, service is not great and every glass of house wine I tried was worse than the one before

Fast and not very good
Delivery order came in 15 min, a little too fast? Although hot it was possibly the worst (and most overpriced) professionally cooked food I've had in NYC. Spaghetti Bolognese tasted like salty aluminum foil, and definitely not 'fresca'. Fettucini Alfredo was no better. Can only hope its better in person, but for delivery you're better off with Domino's bread bowl pasta?

Great and friendly
I stopped in here with 2 friends after a long day of longboarding around park slope and had a great time. We chatted with the owners who were kind enough to send us complimentary bruschetta and recommend menu items to us. I got the lasagna which was quite good. The restaurant is ideally located in a great neighborhood, and it's very fun to sit outside and relax with a Peroni and some fine Italian bread and pasta dishes!

Astonishingly Poor Service
Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm. There were two tables of patrons in the restaurant other than us. Things were bad from the beginning... we ordered two Diet Cokes and a Sprite and got two Sprites and a Diet Coke, and it took about ten minutes for the waiter actually to take our order. We ordered a hot antipasti appetizer to split, and it took 25 minutes to get to our table. On top of that, they also brought us a plate of bruschetta, which we thought may have been part of the antipasti. However, the waiter came, looked at the plate (of which we'd eaten one piece), and said "Oh, I'm sorry, that wasn't yours." And he took it away off our table! After that, it took another 25 minutes before we got our meals, which very obviously had been sitting in the kitchen for a while, as the sauces had started to congeal. The food was very average. I had the artichoke fettucine, which was made with canned artichokes, and I don't really believe that the pasta was fresh. When we asked the waiter if there was a problem with the kitchen, he looked at us like we were asking him for a kidney and was actually *surprised* that we would think that. We've been to Tutta Pasta in the past, and had a nice time, but I can guarantee you that we'll never return again.

Terrible
I was very excited to get some good pasta based on the reviews. Unfortunately I went out on a limb and ordered something others didn't comment on. I got the rigatoni alla vodka and it was terrible. Food was pretty hot and delivery was fast but it wasn't worth the $17! First off it was penne not rigatoni (not a big deal but they should know their pastas), more importantly the sauce tasted like plain cream sauce- totally bland and not what I was looking forward to. I suggest, if you are going to try this place, to order something someone said they enjoyed.

Ab Fab!
We went to dinner here on New Year's Eve and despite the fact that there's typically a wait a mile long they were able to seat our party of 5 immediately. From drinks to entrees to desert, everyone really enjoyed it all. My meal, spinach ravioli, was amazing. The service was also perfect. The atmosphere is just okay, but the great food and service make up for it. I definitely would recommend this place to others, and plan to go back.

A Great Italian Restaurant
Having had the unfortunate experience of poor service at another Park Slope restaurant on New Year's Eve, we went to Tutta Pasta and had the best Italian dinner ever! Their Black Linguine Seafood Extravaganza (enough for two, maybe three) was phenomenal and very filling. Their sangria was truly sangria! And although they had an incredible assortment of desserts to offer, we decided on a great brewed cup of coffee to end this great dining experience. Their staff was attentive and cordial. The restaurant is delightful and was set up to truly celebrate the New Year!
