A pleasure
In this day and age it is nice to be treated in a friendly and warm manner at restaurants in nyc. All the staff is exceptional and the food is also great. You feel like you are in a time warp or maybe in another country. They even put ice in the urinals in the mens room. How refreshing!

good food bad service
Very good food but kind of an entitled attitude. Service is unfriendly, they push you to order quickly, you may be visited by two or three servers, all pushing you to order, unaware that someone else was there two minutes ago. I guess they are so busy that they don't have to offer good service anymore.

Favorite restaurant in NYC
We have been eating here since 1995, it's still my favorite place to go. We have never had a bad meal here. Prefer to eat when the doors open at 5:30 PM, and also prefer the first floor anytime. Everything is delicious. Sherperds salad, Mediterranean Whole Sea Bass and Lamb Shank in wrapped in eggplant, is a few of my favorites. Enjoy.

Great Turkish food
Three of us ate there last night and enjoyed some of the best Turkish food we've ever had. The shepherd and white-bean salads were notably fresh and nicely seasoned with lemon and parley. Fried calamari was average -- not especially worth ordering. Our entrees were delicious and the Turkish wines very good. We were seated on the second floor, which is acceptable but doesn't have as nice an atmosphere as the first floor -- thus the slightly lower rating in that category.

The best Turkish food in town!
The fist time I went to Turkish Kitchen was in 1999. I fell in love with the food. Every single dish we tried was amazing. I have been going there since and I love the the food every time I go. Moreover, every single friend I have taken there has been going there with other friends and family. I go there once a month with friends and the food is always amazing. Their stuffed cabbage is better than my moms. By far the best Turkish food I have had. So go there bring your apetite and let the food do the rest :-)
