    Going downhill

Food is average, service average, used to be better managed a few years ago.

    Romantic and Exceptional!

First time party of four, Tuesday evening is known for a slow night for most restaurants. Not here, yet it was soft tone and still quiet enough to enjoy our experience. Prices are a steal for the fine cusine served. The table and dishes have a delightful presentation. We had the most delightful time. Make reservations!

    Delicious

I have there more than once and everytime I go there, I am amazed by the food and atmosphere. The best Turkish restaurant in NY or even in East Coast.

    Irresistably delicious

As a regular customer I enjoy going there when I want exceptional quality meal. I have been to many great restaurants even in Istanbul but Turkish Kitchen in New York is even better than almost all of them. Order the appetizers and enjoy them slowly with a glass of "raki" and get a light entree and definitely try the desserts. Waiters could lay off pushing the bottled water though.

    So disappointed

This place used our place to go when we wanted some good food... what happened? We went last night and both of our foods were just awful.. too salty.. and my friend's meal was luke warm.. makes you wonder if the lamb was freshly cooked or just nooked.. All the waiter did was push us to order more liquor and deserts. I guess they're more cost effective these days. It's too bad...

    Good food, but pricey

Real good food with great ambience. Perfect date place.

    Good food takes a while

Turkish Kitchen ranges among the best Turkish restaurants in the city for me. Try out the Lunch specials and the Sunday Brunch, it's just great. Also the nice setting helps to make this place attractive. The down-sides include the pricy-ness of the meals and that it's not possible have a quick lunch/dinner there. But then again - good food takes a while!
